Washington High School Basketball - Burlington-Edison thwarts Lakewood

The Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) basketball knocked off the host Lakewood Cougars (Arlington, WA), 58-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Lynden (Lynden, WA). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 11-0 record. In their last test, Lynden notched a victory over Blaine (Blaine, WA), 55-13, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bellingham for a non-league test on Monday, January 15.
