The East Ridge Knights basketball team (Clermont, FL), was nudged 57-50 in Friday's league battle with the host Leesburg Yellow Jackets (Leesburg, FL)
The Yellow Jackets now possess a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tampa Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, January 12.
The Knights (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against South Lake (Groveland, FL). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, South Lake edged Umatilla (Umatilla, FL), 59-30, in a non-league battle.
