Sarasota Sailors (Sarasota, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Jesuit Tigers (Tampa, FL), 49-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sarasota upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Sailors travel to Southeast (Bradenton, FL) to play the Seminoles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 13. The Seminoles go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Southeast lost 65-46 in their recent non-league bout against Sarasota (Sarasota, FL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Tampa Catholic Crusaders (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Jesuit will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record.
