Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Robert C. Byrd Eagles (Clarksburg, WV), 66-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Lewis County upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Minutemen travel to Grafton (Grafton, WV) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 17. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Lincoln County Panthers (Hamlin, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 13. Robert C. Byrd will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
