Wellington Wolverines (Wellington, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Royal Palm Beach Wildcats (Royal Palm Beach, FL), 71-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wellington upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season. The Wolverines host Suncoast (Riviera Beach, FL) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Suncoast won 57-30 in their recent non-league bout against Jupiter Christian (Jupiter, FL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Seminole Ridge Hawks (Loxahatchee, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 17. Royal Palm Beach will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record.
