In Friday's non-league battle, the host Gilbert Christian Knights soccer squad scored a good 9-1 triumph over the Crismon Rattlers.
The Knights (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against San Tan Foothills (Queen Creek, AZ). The Sabercats come into the 3A East battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, San Tan Foothills thwarted Florence (Florence, AZ), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Rattlers (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Maryvale Prep (Phoenix, AZ). The Matador come into the 3A Independent battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Maryvale Prep was overwhelmed by Parker (Parker, AZ), 4-2, in a non-league battle.
