Virginia High School Basketball - Miller School of Albemarle nips St. Andrew's Episcopal

In Sunday's non-league contest, the host Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks basketball team scored a close 54-50 triumph over the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions.
The Mavericks (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA). The Bishops go into the Virginia Independent contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Virginia Episcopal School was tipped by Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA), 68-43, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Saint James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) in a Mid-Atlantic contest, on Tuesday, January 14. St. Andrew's Episcopal will attempt to better on its 9-6 season record. The Saints go into the contest with a 4-9 record after their 47-33 non-league loss to Landon (Bethesda, MD).
