The Barrington Eagles basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host St. Raphael Academy Saints to 37 in the Eagles league victory on Thursday.
The Eagles now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Greenwich for a State Championship A contest on Wednesday, January 19. Barrington will battle a Avengers team coming off a 54-33 league loss to Portsmouth (Portsmouth, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 4-7.
The Saints (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI). The Bengals come into the State Championship A contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, St. Mary Academy-Bay View was nudged by South Kingstown (Wakefield, RI), 60-39, in a league contest.
