In Friday's league outing, the Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA), by a count of 66-30.
The Comets (11-1) will now prepare for their outing against Western Wayne (Lake Ariel, PA). The Wildcats go into the Lackawanna 2 outing with a 0-9 record. In their last outing, Western Wayne was crushed by North Pocono (Covington Township, PA), 60-16, in a league outing.
The Warriors now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Scranton for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Delaware Valley will clash with a Invaders squad coming off a 50-47 league loss to Valley View (Archbald, PA). The Invaders record now stands at 7-6.
