The Our Lady of the Sun Academy basketball team (El Mirage, AZ), was nudged 73-66 in Friday's league battle with the host Academy with Community Partners Lions (Mesa, AZ)

The Lions now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Imagine Prep Superstition for a non-league battle on Monday, January 16. Academy with Community Partners will battle a Panthers team coming off a 65-46 non-league win over South Ridge (Phoenix, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 4-3.

The (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Skyview (Buckeye, AZ). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Skyview edged Caurus Academy (Anthem, AZ), 55-28, in a non-league battle.
