In Friday's non-league outing, the Borden Braves (Borden, IN) basketball squad beat the host Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), by a count of 61-45.
The Braves (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Charlestown (Charlestown, IN). The Pirates come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Charlestown toppled Perry Central (Leopold, IN), 71-43, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Eagles play the New Washington Mustangs (New Washington, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 20. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 69-63 non-league win over Trinity Lutheran (Seymour, IN).
