The Comeaux Spartans basketball team (Lafayette, LA), dropped 56-45 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Beau Chene Gators (Arnaudville, LA)

The Gators now possess a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anacoco for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Beau Chene will confront a Indians team coming off a 79-66 league win over Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Indians record now stands at 20-2.

The Spartans (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 3-10 record.
