Rhode Island High School Basketball - Bishop Hendricken overwhelms Mt. Pleasant

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bishop Hendricken Hawks (Warwick, RI) and the visiting Mt. Pleasant Kilties (Providence, RI), saw Bishop Hendricken's basketball squad wallop Mt. Pleasant by a count of 70-41.

With the victory, Bishop Hendricken upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Smithfield (Esmond, RI) to play the Sentinels in a State Championship challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Kilties play the Portsmouth Patriots (Portsmouth, RI) in a State Championship challenge, on Thursday, January 19. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 3-6 season record.
