The Buena Chiefs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Schalick Cougars to 39 in the Chiefs non-league victory on Friday.
The Chiefs now sport a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Collingswood for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Buena will battle a Panthers team coming off a 44-39 league loss to Haddon Heights (Haddon Heights, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 3-8.
The Cougars (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Penns Grove (Carneys Point, NJ). The Red Devils come into the Tri-County - Diamond contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Penns Grove dropped by Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NJ), 57-52, in a non-league contest.
