Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gladstone Gladiators (Gladstone, OR), 50-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Cougars host Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR) to clash with the Huskies in a 4A Oregon West bout on Friday, January 20. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 1-12. Sweet Home lost 64-32 in their recent non-league bout against Crook County (Prineville, OR)

Next up, the Gladiators clash with the Molalla Indians (Molalla, OR) in a 4A Tri-Valley bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Gladstone will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 74-58 non-league loss to Stayton (Stayton, OR).
