Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting New Faith Christian Academy Titans (Stockbridge, GA), 60-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cedar Shoals upgrades its record to 2-13 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Woodville-Tompkins (Savannah, GA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Woodville-Tompkins won 64-19 in their recent league bout against Claxton (Claxton, GA)

Next up, the Titans play the Rockdale County Bulldogs (Conyers, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. New Faith Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 66-61 league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA).
