The Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA) basketball knocked off the host Cheney Blackhawks (Cheney, WA), 49-35 in Friday's league test.
The Bears (2-11) will now prepare for their test against North Central (Spokane, WA). The Wolfpack go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, North Central went down by Mead (Spokane, WA), 62-56, in a league test.
The Blackhawks now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Mead for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane test on Tuesday, January 17. Cheney will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 62-56 league win over North Central (Spokane, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 6-7.
