Indiana High School Basketball - Eastern Greene ripped by Clay City

The Clay City Eels basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Eastern Greene Thunderbirds to 21 in the Eels league triumph on Friday.
The Eels now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owen Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Clay City will meet a Patriots team coming off a 52-49 league loss to Edgewood (Ellettsville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 5-6.
The Thunderbirds (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN). The Cardinals enter the Southwestern Indiana contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Bloomfield triumphed over South Knox (Vincennes, IN), 36-32, in a non-league contest.
