Keota Eagles (Keota, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Colfax-Mingo Tigerhawks (Colfax, IA), 84-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Keota upgrades its record to 11-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA) to play the Ravens in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Ravens go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Hillcrest Academy lost 65-46 in their recent non-league bout against WACO (Wayland, IA)

Next up, the Tigerhawks play the B-G-M Bears (Brooklyn, IA) in a South Iowa Cedar bout, on Friday, January 20. Colfax-Mingo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
