The Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) basketball felled the host Conestoga Cougars (Murray, NE), 45-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Knights (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Parkview Christian (Lincoln, NE). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record. In their last test, Parkview Christian was beaten by Tri County (DeWitt, NE), 59-54, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Palmyra for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Conestoga will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 57-47 non-league loss to Freeman (Adams, NE). The Panthers record now stands at 7-7.
