Creston Panthers (Creston, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Lewis Central Titans (Council Bluffs, IA), 57-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Creston upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Hawkeye Ten bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-10.

Next up, the Titans clash with the Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) in a Hawkeye Ten bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Lewis Central will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Monarchs go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 62-50 non-league win over Boone (Boone, IA).
