Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions (Washington, DC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Don Bosco Cristo Rey Wolfpack (Takoma Park, MD), 56-44 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Washington Latin Public Charter School upgrades its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC) to play the in a PCSAA A bout on Tuesday, January 17. The come into the bout with a record of 6-8. E.L. Haynes won 54-13 in their recent league bout against Richard Wright Public Charter School (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Wolfpack play the German (Potomac, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Don Bosco Cristo Rey will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
