Indiana High School Basketball - Union County trounced by Eastern Hancock

January 13, 2023: Charlottesville, IN 46117

The Eastern Hancock Royals routed the visiting Union County Patriots basketball team by a final score of 72-29 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Royals face the Greenfield-Central Cougars (Greenfield, IN) in a non-league game, on Saturday, January 14. Eastern Hancock will attempt to move on its 9-4 season record. The Cougars enter the game with a 9-1 record after their 73-48 league win over New Castle (New Castle, IN).

With the defeat, Union County moves to 2-11 on the year. The Patriots host Rushville (Rushville, IN) to face the Lions in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 17. The Lions enter the game with a record of 3-10. Rushville lost 63-29 in their recent non-league game against New Castle (New Castle, IN)
