With the victory, Yorba Linda improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Villa Park (Villa Park, CA) to play the Spartans in a Crestview challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 14-7. Villa Park won 71-66 in their recent non-league challenge against El Dorado (Placentia, CA)

Next up, the Vanguards play the Canyon Comanches (Anaheim, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. El Modena will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Comanches come into the challenge with a 16-5 record after their 83-29 non-league win over Brea Olinda (Brea, CA).
