California High School Basketball - Esperanza ripped by Foothill

The Foothill Knights basketball team scored 87 points and held the host Esperanza Aztecs to 57 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chaparral for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Foothill will battle a Pumas team coming off a 46-24 league win over Murrieta Mesa (Murrieta, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 8-10.

The Aztecs (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mayfair (Lakewood, CA). The Monsoons enter the non-league contest with a 9-11 record. In their last match, Mayfair was ripped by La Mirada (La Mirada, CA), 58-41, in a league match.
