The St. Martin de Porres Lions (Cleveland, OH) basketball crushed the visiting First Baptist Christian Sabres (Elyria, OH), 56-26 in Friday's league test.
The Lions (9-1) will now prepare for their test against Madison (Madison, OH). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Madison was trounced by Riverside (Painesville, OH), 83-47, in a league test.
The Sabres now own a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wellington for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. First Baptist Christian will meet a Dukes team coming off a 50-39 league loss to Keystone (La Grange, OH). The Dukes record now stands at 2-8.
