Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Garden Plain Owls (Garden Plain, KS), 57-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Medicine Lodge upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Indians host Chaparral (Anthony, KS) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Roadrunners go into the bout with a record of 4-6. Chaparral lost 52-51 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS)

Next up, the Owls play the Cheney Cardinals (Cheney, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Garden Plain will attempt to upgrade on its 2-8 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 67-49 non-league win over Kingman (Kingman, KS).
