South Park Sparks (Buffalo, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Global Concepts Gators (Lackawanna, NY), 59-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Park upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Sparks travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Bishop Timon-St. Jude won 86-68 in their recent non-league bout against McKinley (Buffalo, NY)

Next up, the Gators play the Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Global Concepts will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Legends go into the bout with a 6-2 record after their 58-56 league loss to Orchard Park (Orchard Park, NY).
