Mt. Spokane Wildcats (Mead, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Gonzaga Prep Bullpups (Spokane, WA), 46-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Mt. Spokane upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Lewis & Clark (Spokane, WA) to play the Tigers in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Lewis & Clark lost 43-40 in their recent league bout against Ferris (Spokane, WA)

Next up, the Bullpups play the Ridgeline Falcons (Liberty Lake, WA) in a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Gonzaga Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 6-7 record after their 61-37 non-league loss to Pullman (Pullman, WA).
