The Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) basketball nipped the host Northeastern Jets (Springfield, OH), 58-53 in Friday's league test.
The Knights (4-9) will now prepare for their test against West Jefferson (West Jefferson, OH). The Roughriders go into the Ohio Heritage test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, West Jefferson was tipped by Cedarville (Cedarville, OH), 73-40, in a league test.
The Jets now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Greeneview for a Ohio Heritage test on Tuesday, January 17. Northeastern will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 75-54 non-league win over Stivers School for the Arts (Dayton, OH). The Rams record now stands at 12-2.
