Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Guilderland Flying Dutchman (Guilderland Center, NY), 57-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Shenendehowa upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Plainsmen travel to Shaker (Latham, NY) to clash with the Bison in a Section 2 Suburban - Blue bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Shaker lost 52-46 in their recent non-league bout against Albany Academy for Boys (Albany, NY)

Next up, the Flying Dutchman clash with the Albany Falcons (Albany, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Guilderland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-11 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 81-74 league win over Troy (Troy, NY).
