With the victory, GV Christian upgrades its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Guardians travel to Beaver Dam (Littlefield, AZ) to play the Diamondback in a 1A Southern challenge on Friday, January 20. The Diamondback come into the challenge with a record of 2-9. Beaver Dam lost 56-25 in their recent league challenge against Adelson (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Spring Mountain Eagles (Las Vegas, NV) in a 1A Southern challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Indian Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 60-23 league win over Liberty Baptist Academy (Las Vegas, NV).
