Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ), 61-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Jefferson Township upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Falcons travel to Roxbury (Succasunna, NJ) to clash with the Gaels in a non-league bout on Monday, January 16. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 3-5.

Next up, the Hornets clash with the Montville Mustangs (Montville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Hanover Park will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 90-86 non-league loss to Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ).
