Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Neelyville Tigers (Neelyville, MO) and the visiting Holcomb Hornets (Holcomb, MO), saw Neelyville's basketball squad nip Holcomb by a margin of 59-53.

The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Doniphan (Doniphan, MO). The Dons go into the Ozark Foothills test with a 12-4 record. In their last test, Doniphan got by Naylor (Naylor, MO), 73-41, in a league test.

The Hornets now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Delta for a Tri-County - Southeast test on Tuesday, January 17. Holcomb will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 77-40 league loss to Cooter (Cooter, MO). The Chargers record now stands at 2-3.
