Pinkerton Astros (Derry, NH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH), 48-40 in a league bout.
With the victory, Pinkerton upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Astros host Londonderry (Londonderry, NH) to play the Lancers in a Division I bout on Friday, January 20. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 1-9. Londonderry lost 83-70 in their recent league bout against Salem (Salem, NH)
Next up, the Blackbirds play the Timberlane Owls (Plaistow, NH) in a Division I bout, on Friday, January 20. Keene will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
