With the win, Valdez upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Homer (Homer, AK) to play the Mariners in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Mariners go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Homer lost 48-47 in their recent non-league bout against Nikiski (Nikiski, AK)

Next up, the Huskies play the Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Kotzebue will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-9 record after their 48-47 non-league win over Homer (Homer, AK).
