Indiana High School Basketball - Lake Central ripped by Portage

The Portage Indians basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Lake Central Indians to 43 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merrillville for a Duneland contest on Friday, January 20. Portage will meet a Pirates team coming off a 59-47 non-league loss to Munster (Munster, IN). The Pirates record now stands at 6-5.

The Indians (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lowell (Lowell, IN). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 2-10 record. In their last contest, Lowell was routed by La Porte (La Porte, IN), 66-36, in a non-league contest.
