In Friday's league outing, the Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Providence Classical (Rock Hill, SC), by a margin of 58-29.

The Mariners (5-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lee Park Prep (Monroe, NC). The Knights go into the non-league outing with a 13-4 record. In their last outing, Lee Park Prep smashed NorthPoint Christian Academy (Waxhaw, NC), 102-24, in a league outing.
