In Friday's non-league match, the host Winslow Black Raiders basketball team scored a good 63-52 triumph over the Leavitt Hornets.
In their next game, the Black Raiders meet the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a B North match, on Monday, January 16. Winslow will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record.
With the defeat, Leavitt moves to 3-7 on the year. The Hornets travel to Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME) to meet the Huskies in a non-league match on Monday, January 16. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 2-9. Maine Central Institute lost 56-29 in their recent non-league match against Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME)
