The Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) basketball knocked off the host Oakes Tornadoes (Oakes, ND), 56-45 in Friday's non-league test.
The Titans (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD). The Knights go into the B Region 1 test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Aberdeen Christian notched a victory over Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] (Gettysburg, SD), 81-36, in a non-league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Wishek for a test on Tuesday, January 17. Oakes will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 72-56 non-league loss to Ellendale (Ellendale, ND). The Badgers record now stands at 0-1.
