Maine High School Basketball - Medomak Valley trounces Maine Central Institute

The Medomak Valley Panthers (Waldoboro, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Maine Central Institute Huskies (Pittsfield, ME), 56-29 in Friday's non-league test.
The Panthers (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Maranacook (Readfield, ME). The Black Bears go into the B South test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Maranacook walloped Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME), 71-62, in a league test.
The Huskies now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they host Leavitt for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Maine Central Institute will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 55-51 league win over Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Hornets record now stands at 3-6.
