In Friday's non-league outing, the Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Marmaton Valley Wildcats (Moran, KS), by a count of 76-31.
The Lancers (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS). The Jets go into the Three Rivers outing with a 5-4 record.
The Wildcats now hold a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Anderson County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Marmaton Valley will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 65-64 non-league win over Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
