Louisiana High School Basketball - Mentorship Academy nips Teurlings Catholic

Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), 62-59 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mentorship Academy upgrades its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Rebels play the Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Teurlings Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 47-28 league loss to Dunham (Baton Rouge, LA).
