Illinois High School Basketball - Midwest Central thwarts Mt. Pulaski

The Midwest Central Raiders (Manito, IL) basketball knocked off the host Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL), 70-55 in Friday's league test.

The Raiders (9-8) will now prepare for their test against Olympia (Stanford, IL). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Olympia went down by Eureka (Eureka, IL), 53-40, in a non-league test.

The Hilltoppers now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Greenview for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Mt. Pulaski will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 61-31 non-league loss to Havana (Havana, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-12.
