The Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) basketball crushed the visiting Southfield Christian Eagles (Southfield, MI), 80-58 in Friday's non-league test.
The Fighting Irish (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Arbor Prep (Ypsilanti, MI). The Gators go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Arbor Prep was trounced by Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI), 62-47, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they host Inter-City Baptist for a Michigan Independent - Blue test on Tuesday, January 17. Southfield Christian will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 84-78 league loss to Plymouth Christian Academy (Canton, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 4-4.
