St. John's Bluejays (Delphos, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Parkway Panthers (Rockford, OH), 60-40 in a league bout.

With the win, St. John's upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Pandora-Gilboa (Pandora, OH) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Pandora-Gilboa won 78-31 in their recent non-league bout against Vanlue (Vanlue, OH)

Next up, the Panthers play the Botkins Trojans (Botkins, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Parkway will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 47-40 league win over Fort Loramie (Fort Loramie, OH).
