Pymatuning Valley Lakers (Andover, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH), 69-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Pymatuning Valley upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Lakers host Bristol (Bristolville, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a Northeastern bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Bristol lost 53-37 in their recent non-league bout against Cuyahoga Heights (Cleveland, OH)

Next up, the Fighting Herald clash with the Chalker Wildcats (Southington, OH) in a Northeastern bout, on Friday, January 20. St. John will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
