Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT), 71-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ridgefield upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Trumbull (Trumbull, CT) to play the Eagles in a Fairfield County bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 5-2. Trumbull won 56-47 in their recent league bout against Darien (Darien, CT)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Warde will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Black Knights come into the bout with a 5-2 record after their 70-38 league win over Westhill (Stamford, CT).
