The Ridgemont Golden Gophers basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Waynesfield-Goshen Tigers to 50 in the Golden Gophers league triumph on Friday.

The Golden Gophers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mohawk for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Ridgemont will battle a Warriors team coming off a 77-43 league win over Bucyrus (Bucyrus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 10-2.

The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Mississinawa Valley (Union City, OH). The Blackhawks enter the non-league contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Mississinawa Valley was defeated by Bradford (Bradford, OH), 70-38, in a league contest.
