The Suffield Wildcats basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the host Rockville Rams to 43 in the Wildcats league victory on Friday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montville for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Suffield will battle a Indians team coming off a 70-43 league win over Tourtellotte (North Grosvenordale, CT). The Indians record now stands at 4-4.

The Rams (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Somers (Somers, CT). The Spartans come into the North Central Connecticut contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Somers edged Bolton (Bolton, CT), 53-31, in a league contest.
